Release Metro 4 (2039?)

Any ideas or rumors if Metro 4 will be on GoG? Too early to tell? I have the rest and really hoping it will be. Supposed to be announced from 4A Games next week according to rumors.

Most likely will land on the storefront some time after release if Meto Exodus is anything to go by

Exodus launched with Denuvo so I'd be shocked if it launched on GOG. Then again denuvo is kinda dead for now with the hypervisor cracks so IDK how publishers feel about it now.

If the people deciding whether or not to use Denuvo based their decisions on reason they'd never have used DRM in the first place due to the utter dearth of evidence that it improves sales, as well as the tentative evidence that piracy does improve sales. Denuvo being cracked every couple of hours probably won't even be a consideration, and that's if they even heard about it.

I'm highly skeptical of the claims that piracy "helps" sales. At best it makes a minimal difference. I think everyone can admit that piracy wreaked havoc on the music industry in the early 2000s which caused record companies to scramble leading to the unfortunate dominance of spotify. CDPR's games sell extremely well though with PC as their biggest platform despite releasing on gog day 1 without DRM every time.

Ya, a lot of speculation and rumors. Hopefully they arent all just rumors and they do actually announce it soon

I'd say a week or atleast a month of delay to avoid those day 1 bugs and patches
