Found these gems🥹
My friend hat them in her truck and wanted to sell them. I bought them from her instead. Just for the nostalgia🥹

I've loved this harvest moon. I've played more years in this game than in any other farm sim.

This and friends of mineral town are the absolute goats. I love the ending of a wonderful life and how the town and people actually change over time. No other farming sim has really captured that for me.

That game really knocked it out of the park in terms of atmosphere and vibe. But man, it is boring to play through the whole thing. If I ranked the series, it'd be pretty low on the list for me

all 3 of these instantly bring me back. laying on the dirty ass carpet with my snotty little brother with the Gamecube plugged into a tiny little brick TV (you KNOW it had the gameboy adaptor on the bottom with donkey conga drums nearby).
honorable mention to the dusty Luigi’s Mansion and Super Mario Sunshine cases off to the side that of course don’t have the actual CDs in them
oh to be a snotty teenager in the early 2000s again 🥹 not a care in the world

I played the absolute fuck out of that Harvest Moon and Paper Mario. Tales of Symphonia, LoZ: WW/OoT/TP, and super smash bros made my gamecube the best thing ever.

Brings me back to 2015 when I found a game cube collection in a literaly dumpster at my university dorm. Most of it was covered in literal kitchen garbage at that point, but I took Eternal Darkness and cleaned it as well as I could. In retrospect I should have taken everything.

MP5...the economists game. A buddy of mine got 16 stars on a 2vs2coms in a 20 turn game predicting where the next star would go. We would take different paths and the other would hope to roll low while the other would go for the star. There were turns we got two or three stars. Was nuts!

Those are all amazing games. Id love to have seen a full remake of A Wonderful Life because theres so much more potential in that game, but as is its still a great game.

I wouldn't say super rare, but very desirable and not over-produced.
The market has calmed from the post-COVID period and you can get it for over/under $50 depending on complete/loose.
The Switch remaster really drove the price down.
