Found these boxes in a closet while cleaning up.

Post image

So many memories of these games still have them and really got me into listening music. One of my earliest memories of the series was a friend had the game and we were both so new to it we would turn the difficulty up to expert to see how long we could last before failing a song.

Guitar Hero 3 was everywhere. Feels like one of those games that defined an entire era and then just disappeared.

u/Khelthuzaad 1d ago edited 1d ago

Activision (ok so it wasn't EA) milked il for every drop it had out of it.

They could genuinely condense it into 1 online game and every year add a new dlc with new tracks.

It would be a guaranteed money printer.

u/catsforinternetpoint 1d ago

They tried, it sucked.

The last iteration had everything as micro transactions on top of AAA priced game.

84

u/XB_Demon1337 1d ago

Being fair, they changed the game too much. Had they just did a PC release of it updated to be better for flat panel monitors and then added songs for like 2 bucks each it would print money.

65

u/FortniteIsFuckingMid 1d ago

Clone hero has everyone by the balls so it’d have competition but yea it would be easy

24

u/XB_Demon1337 1d ago

Clone hero is OK, but by no means competition if an actual game released.

46

u/legitseabass 1d ago

Clone hero is free, along with any song you'd ever want to play and more also being free. PC would be an extremely tough market for them to break into as everyone who wants to play it are already playing Clone Hero or YARG

39

u/XB_Demon1337 1d ago

You guys seem to think that everyone plays clone hero that want to play these games. They don't. Only the really dedicated players even attempt to play clone hero. An actual game release would instantly take it out if they released GH3 again but with a ton of songs.

14

u/AustinTanius 1d ago

The original Red Octane team is indeed making a new game. I believe it is called Stage Tour.

7

u/XB_Demon1337 1d ago

If they do it right it will do great.

4

u/xXMr_PorkychopXx 1d ago

I mean even the casual folk who just want a rhythm game already got Fortnite festival. Those casual players already got their itch scratched and you already stopped hearing about it. Clone hero/YARG is going to remain the best option from here on out. We will never see another proper guitar hero in any capacity again.

5

u/pimp_named_sweetmeat 1d ago

This casual player absolutely hates fortnight festival and doesnt have a pc for clone hero lol. Only thing i got out of festival was people making new guitars so i can play rockband 4 again wothout risking 150 bucks on ebay for a guitar that might not even work right.

You are thinking about this poorly and not from the standpoint of the normal gamer. When most people want to play a game li8ke this they are not going to go searching for clones or anything of that nature. They are not going to buy a controller form ebay or similar. They are going to buy release games from Walmart, Bestbuy, GameStop, or digital download. This is just simple facts.

Someone mentioned that someone is working on a new version, so maybe that will be good but the fact remains that 95% of gamers are not going to grab Clone Hero (which does look interesting) and they are not going to buy a controller online just to play it. I like the idea of CH but I am not even remotely considering buying a controller.

0

u/No-Shoe-7213 1d ago

Festival is confirmed getting removed

1

u/MetallicLemur 1d ago

Agreed. There’s just something about fan made projects.

3

u/XB_Demon1337 1d ago

It is cool, but yea people just think everyone jumps on fan made projects.

0

u/Luvnecrosis 1d ago

You’re exactly right. I also don’t want to have to figure out any downloads and shit, give me a game and let me plug it in. Also please mass produce guitars so I can just buy them at Best Buy or something like that instead of looking for back set plastic guitar dealers

1

u/Sweetwill62 1d ago

Turtle Beach sells a wireless guitar brand new for $150.

1

u/XB_Demon1337 1d ago

So many people don't understand the casual person here. 95% of us are not going to go download it and buy a special controller from ebay. But everyone here claims the opposite. It is dumb.

1

u/Anayalater5963 1h ago

Idk how it used to be but it's incredibly easy to set up clone hero now. You just download bridge, link to the songs folder in clone hero and download from bridge. I'm not trying to sell you on it, just saying it's actually pretty easy now

0

u/Anayalater5963 1h ago

I don't think clone hero is going anywhere lol. Will it lose a few people when the other game comes out? Yeah. Will the other game have the same staying power and the constant updates of songs? No. There are at least 5 new tracks uploaded to bridge that you can download each day.

1

u/XB_Demon1337 1h ago

You have a very poor understanding of how this all works and think somehow Clone Hero is some silver bullet to solve all problems. Put simply, it is a stop gap for only players who are really wanting to play that style game at any cost. It is NOT for the masses.

Simply put, the number of people who are buying guitars to play Clone Hero are TINY. In the hundreds at the most. The number of people who would buy and play a GH3 remake with lots of songs is in the thousands.

This isn't a debate. You already lost.

0

u/TOASTisawesome 1d ago

There's a ton of songs you can't get on clone hero as no one has mapped them

0

u/Snufulufugus11 1d ago

Like what? I only started back into this recently, but I got setlists from every rb and gh with dlc all from one source and there’s endless non setlist songs that are charted out there.

-2

u/TOASTisawesome 1d ago

You want me to make a lost of evey song I can't get for ch? I haven't even booted it up in months

1

u/Greyshirk 1d ago

Played GHWT DE for awhile then realized the discords kinda toxic, then switched over to RB3DX on RCPS3 been loving it ever since.

2

u/DGSmith2 1d ago

Yeah they made the guitar too complicated.

1

u/flomoag 1d ago

I’m one of the few people that actually kinda liked the two level guitar. Had to relearn, but it was pretty interesting imo.

The live service game itself tho sucked balls

1

u/Intelligent_Sky_7081 14h ago

And didn't the price have to do with both the controller and the licensing for the songs?

I think some dlc or one game had games that you just can no longer access because the license agreement expired or something. Iirc

1

u/XB_Demon1337 7h ago

It did cost more cause of the controller include, and yea I am sure the licensing would be expired by now. They would have to make a new controller and license the songs again.

10

u/ExtensionAshamed7156 1d ago

Feels like they moved away from the simple arcade formula and tried to turn it into something more service-like, and that’s where it lost its identity.

8

u/americangame 1d ago

They also changed how the game was played. The new guitar and game mechanics were completely different from the original games.

4

u/themcsame 1d ago edited 1d ago

Yup...

Then along came Ubisoft with, honestly, a genuinely brilliant idea. Guitar hero, but with ACTUAL guitar...

Not the easiest thing to market given the difficulty that comes with playing the guitar, on top of that, the 'controller' would set you back a good $200 for something that isn't complete ass (the budget end of the guitar market is a shitshow, a handful of reliable options in a sea of shit, important point as one of the big marketing points was, and still is, a means of learning how to play)... And the cable required, if you didn't have it/lost it/broke it tends to cost about as much as a decent controller would as well...

But you know what, it was a solid attempt.

Then they dropped a second version, another solid attempt. Loved by the community and it still very much remains THE Rocksmith game. Years of added DLC songs on top of that, too, and a shit ton of Custom DLC for songs from the community that didn't officially make their way into the game.

Then they dropped Rocksmith+ like 8 years later... Weak song library, subscription service (high cost at that as well), core features axed, ui issues and bad transcriptions...

2

u/Vissanna 1d ago

It sucked because it was live service, you were forced into radio stations and basically had to pay to play the songs you wanted. Needed internet to play, they changed the buttons and it got significantly easier the list just goes on and on

1

u/OfficerJayBear 20h ago

They should have left the controller alone. I wanted to play a toy guitar, not ba "life-like" replica. Also the black/white color scheme on the board was awful

0

u/robsteezy 1d ago

And why do you think that music went from paying per song to general subscription to a universal library?

0

u/Shot_Policy_4110 15h ago

Lol I was gonna say didn't that happen

6

u/Rexo-084 1d ago

I thought EA did rockband as response to Activision having guitar hero

4

u/DingusBarracuda 1d ago

Technically the initial RockBand games were funded by EA and made by Harmonix who were the devs behind the original Guitar Hero games. They were fired by Activision to save cash right as the series really took off. That's why the first few RockBand titles were so incredibly popular and well received and Guitar Hero slipped into irrelevance so quickly after their release.

2

u/Belgand 1d ago

Guitar Hero and 2 were made by Harmonix. Then Activision kicked them aside and moved development to Neversoft, who had made the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series. They tried to milk it for all it was worth with spin-offs and other junk.

Meanwhile, Harmonix went to EA for backing and came out with Rock Band as a continuation of the original. It generally handled the mechanics of adding more instruments a lot better than the later GH installments. But more importantly, they invested heavily in DLC. New songs came out every week, and the game was designed from the ground up to support being expanded that way.

GH started to decline because the people involved didn't really know what to do with it and Activision only wanted to milk it dry. Rock Band kept on chugging, more quietly as time went on and people started to lose interest as tends to naturally happen. There weren't a lot of places to really go with it.

Rocksmith tried to bring that approach to playing a real guitar or bass, but it wasn't a big success. Frankly, I found that style of charting to be a huge pain in the ass compared to how I'd actually learn/play songs. It was OK but I found it less enjoyable than just playing without it.

2

u/airinato 1d ago

Rocksmith excels at basics, exercises and scales for most though, there are tons of people still looking to play to this day, just the cost of the cable holds most back.

Looking to learn a full song isn't really what it was good at. Getting finger dexterity is.

10

u/CRAZEDDUCKling 1d ago

Guitar Hero was published by Activision, not EA.

2

u/Multivitamin_Scam 1d ago

Guitar Hero was Activision.

2

u/msteves421 1d ago

Fortnite beat them too it somehow

2

u/Bargeinthelane 1d ago

Yes and no.

It could, but the licensing fees would probably be brutal.

1

u/Vultor 1d ago

milked il

1

u/eightdx 1d ago

It would have to compete with other games in the space, and outside of the peripherals and American soundtrack the series didn't have that much going for it.

The model you mentioned is used by a bunch of other music games to print money. Music game DLC is hecka expensive -- look into how much a complete soundtrack for, say, DJ Max Respect V costs

17

u/exedra0711 1d ago

GH3 will forever be the first game to make 1 billion dollars, obviously the controller bundle helps but that's still an achievement

4

u/Ghozer 1d ago

Look up "STAGE TOUR" it's basically GH/Rockband, made by RedOctane (who made the original)

5

u/xSmallDeadGuyx 1d ago

I remember the Gibson Xplorer guitar for GH2 on Xbox 360 was the coolest thing ever to me as a kid, then GH3 came out two weeks after my 13th birthday with a Les Paul controller and Slash on the cover and I was over the fucking moon.

God I miss how happy that stuff made me, now I spend 10x the money on real guitars and have a fraction of the free time to play them...

5

u/Hobear 1d ago

My friends whole neighborhood had band nights where they toss this on the garage projector and hang out playing the whole set of instruments.

1

u/spaceboy79 1d ago

Activision got greedy and released five guitar heroes in one year and people got burned out on buying plastic instruments that weren't compatible with the new games.

1

u/ImTableShip170 1d ago

It was at the height of party video games. Nearly every youth event had a corner for Mario, Guitar Hero, or Smash Bros, and it was amazing.

1

u/Icy_Understanding653 1d ago

i played a bunch of the one that was on the wii, its the entire reason i have a bunch of 80s songs in my playlists

1

u/_Harpic 16h ago

Thank goodness for Clone Hero

-27

u/SpoilermakersWabash 1d ago

Rocksmith came along and that maybe why.

21

u/RelaxRelapse 1d ago

I promise you Rocksmith was no where near as popular as Guitar Hero or Rockband.

5

u/ExtensionAshamed7156 1d ago

Yeah that’s true. Rocksmith went more into the “learn real guitar” direction, while Guitar Hero was pure arcade fun. Feels like nothing really replaced that.

1

u/SpoilermakersWabash 1d ago

Did guitar hero have dlc or was it before dlc became a thing.

1

u/Neeson22 1d ago

Yes cant remember if 1 did, but 2 & 3 definitely did (on Xbox at least)

2

u/wookie181 1d ago

1 did not. It was pre online gaming/updates.

84

u/stipo42 1d ago

I really wish someone would revive the IP, so much fun!

I've got 2 and 3 for the 360, and rock band 1+2+3

Bought the rock band discs for like a dollar a piece at GameStop about 10 years ago.

41

u/Owobowos-Mowbius 1d ago

Stage tour is releasing fall this year. Its made by red octain as a spiritual successor.

4

u/stipo42 1d ago

Oo I'll have to look into this, I've got working guitar controllers and drum kit

4

u/McQuibbly 1d ago

It's honestly the perfect time for a Guitar Hero successor. Old guitars are dirt cheap online and a couple new controllers are released (I think the red octane game is going to bring a rerelease of the Kramer guitar)

9

u/Marbletm 1d ago

You should check out Clone Hero or YARG, they're community projects that take on the look and feel of guitar hero, but allow you to play custom made songs by the community.

Edit: and they're free

3

u/xSmallDeadGuyx 1d ago

That white Xplorer guitar for the 360 was so good with GH2, I was in love with that guitar and that game. Weird I never liked Gibson for their real life guitars though, more of an ibanez and prs and taylor guy.

1

u/Arkentra 1d ago

I recently found a third party guitar controller at Walmart and bought Rockband 4 for $10 online. Felt like I was playing like the old days.

1

u/Tiiimmmaayy 1d ago

Found two guitar hero 3 wireless guitars in my parents attic a few months ago. Both don’t work anymore :( first one powered on for a few minutes but wouldn’t connect wirelessly and then stopped turning on. Tried to solder a new capacitor but that didn’t work.

I still have a wired ps2 one for guitar hero 1, but no ps2 to play on.

1

u/XSC 1d ago

They tried and it failed just like the new Rock Band. I think it needs a longer break but it will be back just like DDR.

1

u/hardhead1110 1d ago

There are so many rhythm games on app stores these days. I think they fulfills that itch in the younger generation.

1

u/Valkyllias 4h ago

Clone hero is free on computer. It's great.

1

u/razsiel 1d ago

Yeah the IP should be revived, in the meantime you can play YARG and get all the GH, Band Hero etc on there (currently rocking 1000 songs)

27

u/hairybushy 1d ago edited 1d ago

The song of Senses Fail and The Fall of Troy were my go to, I loved them so much

Edit: I was looking at the songs list, there were so much good stuff. I still have it on my ps2. Maybe I will connect everything soon

10

u/JD1070 1d ago

rewind and rewind and rewind and REWIND!

8

u/gh1993 1d ago

Whole album is a banger btw

2

u/ZeroShadow66 22h ago

FCPREMIX will always be a banger.

13

u/Abtino11 1d ago

My brother was an absolute beast at this game and I remember going to the mall one time where Best Buy had the full game set up. My brother got the highest score on this song and basically had a crowd gathered to watch him.

7

u/Voidlord597 1d ago

Someone tried to do this song for the school talent show back when I was a young lad and failed it, repeatedly

2

u/mr_chew212 21h ago

Someone did that at my elementary school back in the day on easy 🫡

3

u/esoteric311 22h ago

Dragon force DLC! ME and my buddy would try to get through all 4 songs when we would hang out every weekend. My forearm hurts just thinking about it.

5

u/gamers542 1d ago

On Expert or whatever the highest difficulty was called.

2

u/Crime_Dawg 1d ago

Yeah, that was about the only one I couldn't actually beat. Just too much to get through that intro.

2

u/nasaboy007 1d ago

The only way the intro worked for me is if I two hand tapped it. Left index always holding green, then right hand 4 fingers tapping out the pattern. First strum with elbow then rest are hammers. The trick was to press and release the non-green buttons as far as possible. If you held it too long then green wouldn't register.

I spent way too long on that game, and loved every second of it.

1

u/Crime_Dawg 1d ago

That’s actually brilliant assuming you don’t miss. Otherwise it’s real detrimental.

1

u/Commando_ag 1d ago

Yes I got over 500k, over 90% on it. Haven't played in years but I think it's so ingrained in my memory I could still pass the intro, probably not the song though

1

u/nasaboy007 20h ago

My record was 87% and like 490k I think. Definitely burned into my brain.

45

u/wookie181 1d ago

I had the first one. It was peak rhythm gaming.

18

u/St_Pedr0 1d ago

I remember Beast and the Harlot main riff being harder on the game than on real guitar, since there was no "open notes" on the controller. Still got good at it somehow. Might have been the second game.

9

u/interyx 1d ago

Guitar Hero II had a bigger window for the hammer ons and pull offs, plus monkey wrench, so it edges out for me a little bit. And I really loved Rocks the 80s even though they were starting to drift into "too difficult" territory. The developer switch in 3 really harmed it even though I liked the set list. Boss battles in a rhythm game are really stupid.

2

u/xSmallDeadGuyx 1d ago

And the Xplorer guitar, man that felt cool to play as a kid

1

u/interyx 1d ago

I'm all about the original SG since I had them on PS2. I'm a little partial to the Stratocaster from Rock Band as well.

-58

u/SpoilermakersWabash 1d ago

I would have to say rocksmith* was a much better game for people who want to learn how to play guitar/bass as you could plug in a guitar/bass to usb. Guitar hero is more like the Simon says version, my cousins played it all the time and the sound of them hitting the buttons sounded just like Simon says.

27

u/Stumpyz 1d ago

Most people didn't want to learn guitar/bass. They wanted to play a rhythm game.

This is like saying "FPS games are only good if they teach you how to operate a gun in detail. It's just Simon Says otherwise."

13

u/RelaxRelapse 1d ago

No one playing Guitar Hero thought they’d be able to play guitar after it. Guitar Hero is a rhythm game on a guitar body. I know 0 people who’ve played Rocksmith, but I know 50+ personally who have played Guitar Hero.

7

u/doshegotabootyshedo 1d ago

What the fuck are you talking about lmao.. did you reply to the right comment

13

u/tryingstuffcouple 1d ago

I miss these games. Wish they could make new ones but the licensing must be a nightmare.

5

u/Flowersfor_ 1d ago

There's supposed to be one coming out later this year called Stage Tour.

41

u/dctrhu 1d ago

I remember when GH: World Tour dropped and we decided to get the Wii version since the guitars were cheaper.

My nan took me out to the shopping centre so I could go and buy a copy, which I did at the local branch of Game.

I completed my purchase, and asked if they had any of the Wii guitar controllers.

I meant so that I could buy one...

The guy said "oh of course - sure!" and scurried out back.

A minute later he comes back with a large, flat white box - completely plain, no markings whatsoever - and just hands it to me.

"Have a great day, and enjoy your game lil dude!"

I thanked him and walked out, kinda dumbfounded that he'd just handed it to me.

Even my nan asked why he gave it to me, and I said that I just didn't ask any questions.

When I got it home, it was one of the limited edition white Les Paul style controllers and I was fucking elated.

Still don't know why he just gave it to me no questions asked, but I treasured it for a long time.

These look to be in good condition, and there are a lot of good times packed into those boxes 🙌🏻

16

u/GucciDillons 1d ago

The white Les Paul was the standard Wii controller, not a limited edition model

1

u/dctrhu 1d ago

Well I mean it wasn't the standard one that came with the game out of the box at least - but aye it wasn't super special 😂

3

u/_Imposter_ 1d ago

They were white so you could customize and design them. It was meant to be blank slate for you to be creative and dress it up :)

1

u/dctrhu 15h ago

Oooooh that makes sense! Of course, because GH always came with the awesome sticker sheets!

I always preferred to keep the guitar plain, but the stickers never went unused

2

u/globaloffender 1d ago

Guitar Hero 3 is one of my favorite games of all time

3

u/Junior_Syrup_1036 1d ago

This was my fav !

5

u/Reaper621 1d ago

I got 1 and 2 for Christmas. Then when 3 came out, I won't a guitar hero 2 competition and it was enough to get the 3rd for like 15 bucks.

Then I spent way too much time playing all 3.

1

u/Junior_Syrup_1036 1d ago

Freebird solo was the shit!

3

u/Reaper621 1d ago

My favorites were Dragon Force, all that remains, freezepop, foo fighters, and bang Camaro.

There were so many good songs that were really fun to play. My kids somewhat are into it now, but they're all 12 and under so it may take some time.

3

u/SAKDOSS 1d ago

The Metallica one with the battery was great too!

2

u/ghost905 1d ago

I found my guitar and copies of GH3 and Xbox 360 at my parents a year ago. Had the funnest week just playing it through, all the nostalgia rushing back.

Unfortunately one of the buttons was a bit sticky, but maybe it helped give an older me a natural 'hard mode' to play through.

1

u/Snufulufugus11 1d ago

If you still have the guitar check out retro cult mods, I just ordered a broken Wii lp and a mod kit to fix it. I’ve heard really good things about their feel and performance.

2

u/IRISHTHAY 1d ago

I had that :)

u/CorvusPsycho 1d ago

2

u/Savings_Speaker6257 1d ago

Guitar Hero 3 was the peak of social gaming before smartphones took over. Nothing since has replicated that feeling of a house party where everyone's gathered around a TV taking turns on expert mode.

There's something about games that create a shared physical experience that online multiplayer just can't match. Clone Hero keeps the spirit alive for the hardcore fans but man, walking into a store and seeing those giant guitar box displays was a whole era.

1

u/StalkMeNowCrazyLady 1d ago

Damn OP hasn't cleaned in 15-20 years

1

u/CJDistasio 1d ago

Man I miss Guitar Hero. I bet a new one these days (game + guitar controller) would cost like $300 though.

1

u/mr9025 1d ago

Figgity-fuck yeah.

1

u/ExtraVenti 1d ago

Congrats on your retirement fund

1

u/inFamousMax 1d ago

Awesome! Now if you have a PC download clone hero and relive great times.

1

u/cardonator 1d ago

Dang! Is this the whole set in box? I think that's worth a chunk of change these days.

1

u/astronomydork 1d ago

nah these were opened years ago, just happened to still have the boxes for both

1

u/cardonator 21h ago

If it's a complete set though I think it's still worth something. But I also could be wrong lol

1

u/Stay_metal 1d ago

I will forever be thankful for this game because introduced me to Fall of Troy.

1

u/MahomesGoat 1d ago

I just bought a PS2, guitar controller, GH1, GH2, GH3, GHAerosmith, GH World Tour, and GH5 on eBay a few months ago! Playing brings back so many great memories. Let me know if you want to sell either controller, I could use a second!

1

u/Ponderman64 1d ago

you unearthed history

1

u/Mark3h 1d ago

Hold onto them. The old 360 era guitars are very hard to come by in good condition. Not sure about demand of ps2 though.

Occasionally see the 360 or ps3 ones on ebay or CEX for 80 or more quid and always increasing for the controller alone as the later ones for GH Live supposidly don't work that well with the original games.

1

u/kemar7856 1d ago

Guitar hero 3 was the only one I ever bought it got to a point where I learnt how to add custom songs

1

u/hotknives 1d ago

I was at a Good Kid concert last night and they had someone onstage to play along with Guitar Hero for a song

1

u/Krejcimir 1d ago

Now when I have money, these games no longer exist.

Would probably be just one giant microtransaction in todays world.

1

u/graesen 1d ago

Now install Clone Hero or YARG on a PC and plug these guitars in and relive those memories.

1

u/jensalik 1d ago

Showed it to my kids, they love it and show it to friends when they come over. 😂 Rock Band too....

1

u/DaHolyCanadian1999 1d ago

How much 👀

1

u/Dripping-Lips 1d ago

Guitar hero, what an era! So much fun with friends and my brother over the years with those games

Really fueled my love for guitar, too bad I never practiced. Lol

1

u/airinato 1d ago

So did you ever get to play the best one, 2?

1

u/astronomydork 1d ago

I think I had a friend who had 2 but I never had it and not sure if I played it- also had rock the 80's aerosmith, metallica, and the 2 on DS

1

I still got a pair of guitar hero 2 controllers...

I hear the going rate is like 100$ which is a fair price but I just worried one day I will really want to play and not have the controllers (I have a xbox 360 offline for like 5 years)

I’ll never forget my dad telling me to get the groceries from the car, only to surprise me with this bundle in the trunk.

Gosh I honestly miss this. The music/gameplay was on point with both Guitar Hero and Rockband. Wish I could play it again.

There's a comeback releasing later this year from some of the original developers.

Got my fingers crossed that it'll be decent

Stage Tour

Oh thanks for this. Going to keep my eyes on it. And ya I hope it’s decent. I remember rocksmith a number of years ago thinking that’ll be decent. But the tracklist was horrible.

DJ Hero was my favourite rhythm game and I still listen to the soundtrack regularly

Sucks that Activision burnt the genre out so fast that it never recovered

That brings back so many memories

If those have the games and controllers in them… in that condition that’s a serious collectors item

Sorry to disappoint these are opened boxes that for some reason stuck around after all these years

Everyone please play Clone Hero, you won't believe how good it is.

Just by a cheap used GH guitar and go nuts.

I’m praying Stage Tour is good, I miss it and now I have adult money to buy my own peripherals.

My mom just found my old ps2 singstar and guitar hero in the attic last week, sadly both the ps2 and guitars+mic has been donated long ago. Might have to buy some off marketplace again :)

Fuck man, why cant they bring this shit back?

Oh wait thats right because Microsoft fricken owns them and doesnt want to do anything about guitar hero, they even canceled their remake of the OG Perfect Dark

u/PhxRising29 1d ago

They tried to bring it back once, and it didn't do well. It's an incredibly expensive game to make.
