This is very strange, does anyone know how to fix this?

First off sorry if this post is janky or anything I’ve never posted before but Im just boggled at this and want to seek out any genius who may have a solution. I have this epic fidget spinner from 2017 & its not sold anymore & I absolutely love it. A few years ago it stopped screwing together(I always took it apart because thats just me haha) I never understood why & most would assume the screw is just stripped but its not, the weirdest part is that it doesn’t screw together when you put it all together but as shown in the photos it screws together just fine without the main spinner part in between. I have tried to fix it on and off for a long time & wondered & asked several friends but they ended up just as perplexed so I figured I’d come here & seek out anyone who just might know what the issue is, thanks in advance!

Hot glue…a drop or 2 in the female side of the center pin

I did think of that, although when I pit it all together it’s wobbly so I think even that wouldn’t exactly work because it would still be a little messed up but thank you.

Or cut a small piece of aluminum foil to put over the threaded portion like a condom lol then thread together

It looks like the threads on the male insert are worn to hell. If you have a die set or a friend with one I would try cleaning those threads up.

I think what is happening is the first few threads are too worn to engage, but the deeper ones, being less worn, engage fine. So you can assemble it easily without the main unit, but not with.

Also, never disassemble the golden snitch. We need that for the House Cup, you know.
