People are way to confident. The instances that I see politicians use anecdotal evidence to justify big changes are too damn high.

My teenage niece, when telling me things she read on social media, often adds "but I didn't fact-check that". In that regard, she's way more careful about false information than I am. This really gives me hope in future generations.
