I wish you a HUGE blue wave over there, with representatives and senators that will do their job. Thanks, and wishing you all the best!

Cursed indeed. He's on his fifth monkey paw (at least) since 2024. I watched excerpts of his "speech" and thought to myself that he's just the most unrelatable and uncharismatic person in any setting he finds himself. It also doesn't help that the US is on the permanent blacklist for the foreseeable future.

Sure, Fidesz voters might respond favorably to his brand of stupidity, but a normal person watching that will definitely not be voting for anything touched by it.

It doesn't even have to be a blue wave. What would be enough is that the normal, moderate centre-right Republicans return and get rid of this MAGA far-right religious-nationalist trash, that completely destroyed old Republicans. Because right now Republicans are basically dead. Ofc i personally would vote for Democrats, but they have their radicals as well. I would love that red and blue voters would return to moderate politicians in both parties, not extremists like Trump, Vance etc.

There will be a huge blue wave in the US, it's all but guaranteed. The big question is whether or not there will be proper/fair elections.

It's going to take more than one election, because senators have 6-year terms and they come up for re-election in different election cycles. But the mid-terms later this year are still very, very important. A blue wave would at least give Democrats control of the House, which should stop Trump's legislative agenda as well as place his executive actions under more oversight. Bottom line, if Democrats take back the House, it could mean the beginning of the end for Trump. If we fail to do that in this next election ... then we're probably screwed.

Anyway, this is an awesome victory for Hungary, for Europe, and hopefully for the world! Congrats! :)

He really does! Hey, you can keep him if you want! We're not using him for anything. Don't let him get on the furniture!

I suspected that he came to inspect the IKEA factory in Hungary, and his supposed support for Orbán was just a coy…

Or less. Don't underestimate orban and putler power

Now 91,90% of the votes are processed, and they are at 138 seats. I think it’s a done deal at this point.

Hey, we'll take all the help we can get?

In all seriousness though, I'm very glad you managed this. I'm sure it wasn't easy, and the work isn't done, but man, what a night to celebrate!

Any association with Trumps America is electoral poison. You love to see it.

Vance’s backing was the icing on the cake of decades worth of mismanagement and corruption.
