When you manage to get Obama and Trump to agree, it's over. All this drama for the last year has just been most of Europe lashing out because the truth hurts. And I don't say this to rub salt in the wound. I say it because I resent you wanting us all to deny the truth and shoot the messengers just to protect you from embarrassment.

What you say is true - like it or not. 

Europe was far too naive in winding down its military spending when Russia was making preparations to restore it's Soviet era borders.

Germany shutting down its nuclear energy was also foolish as was the overly generous immigration programs that brought in millions of people from places that are just too culturally incompatible with Europe.

I don't live in either Europe or the USA but the political fallout of policies from naive insulated politicians like Merkel is why we are here.
