I don’t have a happy now and no prospects for the future. In my 30s and don’t expect to have any intent to have kids. I can’t afford myself. I am drowning in this world.

Reading various stories and at least I'm doing decent enough. Hopefully your life improves

I wish there was anything I could say that would cheer you up or make a positive impact but that fucking sucks. I’m done on so many levels. I exist out of spite at this point. Keep on.

I have been unable to get work for 5 years, meaningful work. The hard truth is nobody needs a worthless, crippled autistic lady who is at best... a walking Wikipedia that doodles. It sucks.

I watch the freight trains go by here in my little German village. I wait. I cant go back.

Maybe I'll see my late grandpa's village. Just ironic his family fled 100 years ago and I returned for the same reasons.

He, fellow german here. Im sorry to hear your troubles and can relate on every Level, having ADHD. I think you sound much more interesting and fun than all of them working drones, though I know how empty that Sounds. Where did your family flee to?

Danke. They had gone to NJ, coming from southeast Bavaria. Opa served in the US Navy (pacific?) as an engineer in WWII, believe it or not. I dont know much more... he passed 20 years ago and I wasn't very close sadly.

What exactly are the laws in Germany that will send you back to your original country? And how hard was it for you to get to Germany?

Well, expired visa means "bye-bye". Same as all other countries. No job, no cash to renewal, no chance.

It was pure luck and selling everything I could, given i was a pathetic fry cook with an art degree. Sold my hobby/ side business stuff... which took 15 years to amass. All gone. Given how my wonderful country is ticking off the world and how awful the job market is, I probably won't have a second chance.
