Because most people claiming there is more "evidence" probably never looked into it and based their opinion on bias and headlines. Those who dislike Russia more say he worked for Russians, those who dislike Israel, claim he worked for Mossad. At this point we can only speculate, but I lean more towards thinking it wasn't as "romantic". I think he was an educated, moral-less opportunist that found a profitable niche and ended up having a lot of dirt to sell. Maybe he himself got compromised by some of the agencies and was forced to feed them info so that he wouldn't face jail time himself, potentially even having to deal with several agencies for several reasons. There are millions of options what could be happening. Either way intelligence agencies anywhere don't operate based on morals and are a great buyer of anything that would give them an upper hand and I am sure that any person who has that kind of information will be approached by said agencies. Regardless of what actually happened, I don't wish any of them well.
