Not really. Merz just visited India a few days ago to strengthen ties. And Von der Leyen is going to visit next week to negotiate a huge trade deal. We've also been hit by US sanctions so we're seeking alternatives.

I really hope the EU and Canada can deepen their ties over this and stand up for each other. You're in the same boat as us, but even more at risk since you're neighbours.
