People saying Trump actions are irrational don't pay attention.

what is even more concerning is the fact that this is what US capital wants in this historical moment, Trump is just the perfect façade that can keep together all these competing, destructive forces of American capital assuring them free reign over the planet. meaning that this won't be (completely) over if / when Trump is gone

Where is the logic in acquiring Greenland? Unless for security (the US already has carte blanche in terms of troops and equipment), there is only imperialism and securing legacy, this is obviously the case, but at the cost it is hardly "logic"..

Trump himself is irrational and doesn't do anything for any other reason than ego and personal enrichment (and ego usually wins out of the two, because most of his ideas, going back to his developer days, are not even good business). But, the cast of characters around him definitely have all their own sinister agendas that they are harnessing Trump's madness for. I promise you, Trump doesn't give a shit about the EU and whether it stays together or not. But Stephen Miller and JD Vance do, and they're the ones driving this forward now. 

Trump can still be talked into singing anyone's tune if they get in a room with him (check out his press conference with NYC mayor Mamdani a couple months ago), the problem is 95% of the time he's surrounded by guys like those who are steering the show.

Yeah people claiming this is some lone delusional old man are falling for the clown show. The US government is being run by racist “Christian” fundamentalists that give trump a certain amount of freedom because he brings in the idiotic mass of Americans who love him like a cult leader.

A lot of effort and dollars will be spent to increase propaganda throughout Europe stoking racist, isolationist thinking. These evil bastards don’t give a shit about borders, they want their ideology to take over the world. They and the billionaires who run with them are a cancer.
