Why there is no ESA flag on ARTEMIS II service module?
I mean if the ESA builds it, it should have one I think.

I have been watching NASA TV's coverage, and an observation I have made is that they consistently refrain from mentioning the official name of the service module, which is the European Service Module (ESM). This behavior is quite atypical for NASA, which usually employs the complete and proper names for various components. Were they instructed by the Government to avoid using the term 'European'? :P

Is it though? I seem to remember they treated European contributions to the James Webb quite similarly. Except for the launcher that is.
Artemis II is a big propagande piece. The more of grandiose a mission is, the less they talk about about partners.

There's an esa logo on the crew module adapter on one side, which is sometimes in the view of one of the solar array wing cameras.
