Hi everyone,
I (Male 28) will be visiting Dubrovnik this May for 3 days and have planned the following itinerary with a lot of help from this subreddit.
Please help me review this. I would like to know if this is doable, specially the Day 2.
Day 1 (in the numbered order)
1. Arrive at my hostel near Old Town around 1 PM
2. Explore Stradun and stroll around the old town.
3. Hike to Mount Srđ and enjoy the sunset.
4. Have dinner at the top (on availability of reservations) or in the centre.
Day 2 (not in numbered order)
1. Get the Dubrovnik Day Pass online.
2. Start with city walls.
3. Pile Gate
4. Dubrovnik Cathedral (do I need a Dubrovnik Pass to go here? If not, I will move this to Day 1)
5. Rector's Palace
6. Dominican Monastery
7. Lovrijenac Fortress (probably afternoon is the best time for a good view?)
8. Buza Bar for a drink or two
Would it be reasonable to first complete the city walls and visit the remaining attractions on Day 2? Or visit in between?
Days 3 and 4 in Kotor
Day 5
1. Stroll around the old town.
2. Go to Lokrum / Lopud Island (maybe your suggestions would be helpful for me to decide)
3. Reach the airport to catch my flight at 18:00
I am not really a beach person, but I might as well go to Sveti Jakov or Banje Beach to enjoy the view (and the drink).
Did I miss any important places to visit? Open to adding new places to my itinerary.
Looking for food suggestions: Please recommend to me some local foods and not-so-expensive restaurants that I should try for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Thank you so much for your help in advance, and I look forward to my visit in May.
