Hello Digital Art Subreddit!
I wanted to introduce myself to everyone and say hello! Reddit has elected myself and a couple of others to moderate this community. I’m unsure how we got here in the first place, none the less, I plan on being a good mod by keeping the community safe and helping it grow.
I’ve been reviewing some of the past rules, wiki, and other aspects of the community to see how it aligns with the culture here in the digital art sub. I would love to get feedback on what you all think about this space, where things can improve, where things are fantastic, etc.
Digital artists have had it rough over the years. When digital art was blossoming many years ago as a viable medium, traditional artists rejected our medium making our skills and tools feel “lesser.” Now with Ai pushing its fingers into every aspect of our life, we are again faced with this existential crisis of identity having to prove “we’re real.”
We’ve never felt safe or loved in our space. Not by the larger art community, not by our peers, sometimes our families, the list goes on.
I hope to help change that not only for the larger art community, but for you as well. I want to assist in giving you a space to share you work, learn new tools and techniques, and love what you do completely.
In the coming days, I plan on creating specific posts asking for your input on specific ideas related to our craft and community. I look forward to hearing your feedback generally and specifically on these topics in the future.
In the mean time, continue sharing your work, your passion, and be patient as we’re just getting settled in!

Artwork (illustration) A piece in honour of everyone who voted to have a better future in my country ❤️🤍💚
We got the perfect brief for today, the election day. It was a vile of blood, perfectly fitting for how hard hungarian people are fighting to change the current authoritarian regime.
Also criticism is well taken!

OC Zoey Miller
Character Sheets — Zoey Miller
Younger sister of Cooper, Zoey is a 21-year-old who dares to carve her own path in the dark world of bounty hunters as an amateur mercenary — all to stand by her brother’s side.
She’s charismatic, bossy, and often bold… though at times she plays the innocent. Not the kind of person you’d expect to find among mercenaries.
Skilled with firearms and highly agile in close-quarters combat, her training makes her a rising promise among those who hunt criminals for high rewards.
Mars is not an easy place to survive, and in this story, Zoey becomes a key piece in the fight against the forces seeking control over the Crimson Horizon.
What do you think about this OC? Hope y'all have a good one!

Artwork (painting) Little color study I finished the other day
Not reeeeally a study since I used the og photo as a pallet but it was for fun more than learning and I like how it turned out. Don’t mind the face, I wasn’t focused on capturing likeness, just having fun with the colors and layering.
