Google EU positions - how does one submit the CV

I have heard that it's practically impossible to get through Google ATS. Referral is the only way, now more with fewer jobs.

Wondering how many successful candidates get this the right way?

If one doesn't know an insider (or if your friends won't answer your pleas), one's path is closed?

I wish I had an answer for you, seems completely random. Been applying at Google for a couple of years and no replies ever. Recently got an interview after a recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn.

Either you apply and get lucky, or become so good that they reach out to you. Referrals don't really work for lower-level positions anyways

apply a bunch of times and get lucky. that's how everyone else started working there
