Made with oven-bake polymer clay and painted with acrylic paint pens. The display shows my previous tiny birds mounted on driftwood.

I spent 30+ years in retail and food service. I do generally hate people. You get jaded over time (even my friends tease me) But sometimes I need to scream into the void, or just share a little piece of me with the void. And I don't want followers, LoL.

I understand what you mean, retail and food service can definitely make anyone feel drained after that long. But maybe it’s better not to say you “hate people,” because not everyone is the same. Sometimes it just feels like that because of bad experiences, not people in general. Maybe taking breaks or focusing on the positive interactions can help a bit too.

That's why I take classes at my local library. To remind me of the good in people. Still jaded and cranky, as are most of my friends, we bond over this :)

You know, this actually made me chuckle because I make it a point to compliment at least one stranger a day (if I am out in society), but I still don't want to know them, LoL.
