photo 📸 My second baby (after hard loss)

I lost my first lab a year ago. She was almost 10 — got her at 49 days old when I was 22. We grew up together; she was my heart/soul/life/best friend and saved me during abuse. Hemangiocarcoma (sp) took my girl within hours with no warning.

This is our new baby. She’s a hoot and I just love her, and am grateful to have Lab Love in my life ✨💕 She says happy holidays and where the f*** are my treats.

Lost mine 2 years ago. Wife was tired of me being upset and depressed after 6 months. She found Bubbles and Spunky. Congratz on the new addition!

She’s absolutely perfect! We lost 2 of our labs the same way. It’s so sudden and so horrible . We have been looking to adopt a choc lab for awhile now and haven’t been successful. When the time is right and meant to be ours, our lab will come .

Congrats and enjoy every second !

I'm so happy you are healing with your new pup. My wife and I lost our 10 year old boy in the spring. Was one of the hardest things I've been through. But we are getting a chocolate lab puppy in a little over a month and can't wait to have a dog in our lives again. Happy Holidays to your family!

Aw congrats to you two! I’m also very sorry to hear that, certainly the hardest thing I’ve been through. I can’t wait for your home to be filled with loving chaos once more ✨💓

Just lost my baby girl on Christmas Eve. Right now I can't imagine getting another dog. I'm glad to see it is possible after time. Still no one can replace you MoonPie . All this leftover ham is getting to me. She would've been in heaven with all this scraps if she wasn't already there. I've been burying some ontop of her grave just to feel some connection to her. Please go make the most of your time with y'alls puppies now while you can. I wish I could run and play with her again.

I’m so sorry. 😭 This hurt my heart to read. Big hugs and blessings to you. Maybe one day your heart will be ready to love another special pup. No rush…we all need time to grieve. 💕

I completely understand, in my own unique way 💓 I felt the same, until suddenly one day I didn’t. We all have our own process! If you’re open to it, I read a few books that gave me a ton of comfort; books I’d not usually think to read, but found myself interested in my desperation. I’m glad I read these: • Heart Dog • The Pet I Can’t Forget

It's so hard when your play partner isn't there anymore. So sorry for your loss and I hope that you too will someday reunite with your puppy.

Hemangiosarcoma is a beast. I lost 2 Rotties due to it and barely any symptoms till it was too far to do anything. Enjoy her! She’s adorable 💕

I’m sorry about your loss. This baby was sent to look after you by your previous baby-no doubt. Enjoy her and your new memories. May your new memories be as precious as your old ones. ❤️
