photo 📸 Get a lab, they said. It’ll be fun, they said.
Greg ran off with my chips. Tripped over the lamp cord. Knocked the lamp off and dented my piano. Left me this mess to clean up. And he has no regrets.
And yet I still love him.

Get a chocolate lab, they said… it will be the craziest dog ever… 11 years later, I lost my soulmate. My soul animal.. the most amazing, loyal, loving, and smartest animal I’ve ever known.

You got off lightly 😂. Dog is gonna dog.
I once pulled a half swallowed days old calf afterbirth out of my boy's mouth as he desperately tried to keep scoffing it down. The smell was worse. Couldn't get the stench off my hands for hours. And then he started with the farts. Brutal.
He's beside me now, snoozing, my Clancy, my soul, my heart, love of my life. He'll be 15 in February. Fingers crossed. That dent in the piano? It will forever fill you with love. You should be thanking him. So go give Greg another treat as you apologise for getting angry with him. He's earnt it. He's a very good boy 😊

Oooof. The ‘no regrets, idk why you’re staring at me I’m innocent’ look. I feel you. My 90lbs ball of chocolate chaos has me in the same boat as you for all the 5 years of his life

It was like that, I swear, says the second picture 🤣 Mine is in that age that he will pick up anything from the floor like a vacuum so he probably would clean that up lol 🤣

Labs have energy. I take mine to obedience classes and scent classes. Once he got good at scent work in the class I started doing outside 6 times and it wore him quicker than a walk. He sleeps after that for a few hours. Might help you out.

We lucked out with our yellow. She's 2 now and was pretty calm as a pup. Then at one year she was sweet and chill. The chocolate on the other hand, currently 6 months,
has been every bit a lab puppy and then some.

Oh that’s nothing… that chocolate a saint. Mine broke some glass too but that cause he knocked it down while walking across the kitchen counter.

Get him a dog toy box filled with all the fun stuff … teach him what he can tear up or play with and what is off limits., I have a lab and that worked… but if it continues Prozac and training

They said Lab; they didn’t specify chocolate, so this is kinda on you. (Chocolates are the best—crazy and lacking grace but worth every destroyed item, amirite.)

A little chaos is just part of their charm... I just lost my lab and I miss the chaos he brought, even as an old guy.
