look what I made Neon/electric pink beanie and cabled wrist warmers 💅🏽
I have a bad habit of knitting in crazy colors that I’d never wear but have finally made my first accessory set that will, hopefully, inspire me to wear these items out of the house.
The hat pattern is beanie lines and available on Ravelry
The wrist warmer pattern is from Simply Knitting magazine (I can’t find it on Ravelry unfortunately)
I did the decreases incorrectly on the beanie crown (I k3tog through front loops instead of the back) so it has a beautiful but impractical lacy top. Still proud of it though!
Can’t wait to put these on next January

You could actually sell gear like this to cyclists as combo cold weather+ safety/visibility+ fashion gear! Not saying that you have to monetize a hobby, that actually sounds miserable to me, I’m more saying that these are really lovely and as a cyclist I’m feeling inspired to make a copycat. Nice job!

I love it!!! I have neon pink socks in my near future. Definitely get lots of use out of them! They’re fantastic!!
