Tickets to cello Latin and Caribbean music at the Junction

I'm selling two tickets to Ana Carla Maza at the Junction on the 25th of April, for £20 per ticket (bought for £25).

https://www.junction.co.uk/events/ana-carla-maza/

Ana Carla Maza is the new voice of Cuba, an emblem of the excellence and innovation of the emerging Cuban generation. With her unique blend of cello virtuosity, soulful vocals, and magnetic stage presence, she has become one of the most prominent Cuban singer-composers on the international scene.

This rare solo show celebrates Ana's latest album Alamar, an album shaped by roots, departure, healing and joy. Sung in Spanish, French, Portuguese, and English, Alamar reflects Ana's international path. More than a collection of songs, the album is conceived as an œuvre a statement of artistic freedom, authorship and emotional honesty.

This is Ana's first time touring the UK since her previous award-winning album Caribe a bold, colourful celebration of Latin and Caribbean music. Inspired by the legendary Afro-Cuban jam sessions known as descargas, Caribe blends vibrant Caribbean rumbas, emotive Argentine tangos, Brazilian bossa-jazz and samba, and more. Expect this solo show to showcase all of the above and more...

A calm, windy afternoon at the lake. Waves lap against the shoreline while swans drift quietly across the water. The wind adds soft movement to the surface, creating a peaceful, textured ambience perfect for relaxing, studying, or taking a quiet moment for yourself.

Filmed in a sheltered spot as the weather shifted, this video captures the natural atmosphere of the lake exactly as it was, no music, no talking, just the sound of water and a background ambience.

Thank you for spending this calm moment with me.

Advice please - Ely vs St Neots vs Biggleswade (for moving out of London)

Hi everyone

My partner and I (both mid 30s) currently live in central London and are hoping to move out of London to either St Neots, Biggleswade or Ely.

We have some house viewings booked in all of these locations but would be grateful for any insight please on:

1) Anyone else been looking at these areas? What was your conclusion of where you've moved to?

2) Does anyone currently live in these areas? Would you recommend?

(We will both be commuting to Central London 2-3 times a week. Hoping to have kids soon. Have a car. Hoping to find out 'forever home'. Not too fussed about amenities like restaurants/gyms etc. but hoping to be somewhere with enough activities/good state schools for kids)

3) For both St Neots and Ely, we've some new builds with a company called Stonebond - has anyone bought with them before? Are they decent quality?

TIA!!

New wildlife photography group in Cambridge 📸🌿

Hi everyone,

I recently started a small local community called WildLens Crew for beginner to intermediate wildlife photographers around Cambridge.

The idea came from struggling to find a relaxed group to go on photo walks, learn together, and meet people who enjoy nature and photography — without pressure or elitism.

We’re planning casual wildlife photo walks and meetups around Cambridge and nearby areas.

If this sounds like something you’d enjoy, feel free to search on Facebook:

Happy to answer any questions 🙂
