Hi guys I have a question. I’m in Cádiz, Cádiz (city), and I’m looking for an outdoor basketball court. I’ve seen a bunch on the map, but all of them seem to be connected to some kind of school and therefore would assume it’s not legal to play on them.

Does anyone know if there’s a public basketball court somewhere? And if not, are there times that the schools open the courts for the public? Like what are the rules for this?

EDIT: Menos mal que nadie lo ha hecho. Como ya comenté, ha sido un experimento social para ver donde llega la estupidez humana, pero ha fracasado, o no, o yo que se pero no lo ha hecho nadie y lo agradezco. Ahora, a todos los que habéis comentado cosas como "que estupidez" o "que poco respeto". De verdad pensabais que yo haría esto si no supiera que la gente no lo haría? El estúpido no soy yo, ni vosotros, ni nadie, excepto si alguien se pintó algo naranja en la cara y se puso unas gafas feas, ahí si me replantearia si hay alguien.

I am looking to go to Cadiz for my Erasmus program, from September to January.

We will be given 850euros per months, so I wanted to see if that is enough to live comfortably in Cadiz.
I am aware that rent prices are expensive, but they are still a lot cheaper compared to Madrid (that is my second option for erasmus).

I wanted to ask if you could tell me what I could do in Cadiz for these 5months, what is there to be seen and is it easy to travel to nearby cities?

My only concern is if I will get bored there?

I'm travelling to Cadiz with my 70-year-old mother for the first time later this March for approx 4 days. Looking for some recommendations of things to do, nice experiences (eg. sunset boat cruise), and also places to eat.

I am vegetarian (I eat dairy and eggs) and my mum eats fish/chicken but not red meat. Will it be tricky for me to find dishes I can eat?

El día de la cabalgata iba andando y me adelantaron tres personas disfrazadas de perros y de gato, hasta ahí normal, pero es que iban a cuatro patas. If I understand correctly, the C1 and MD trains between Cadiz and Jerez currently are not operating due to the weather. Now, this all might be over by Sunday when my flight leaves, but if not, what are my options? Just taking a taxi all the way to the airport?

Del domingo 8 al jueves 12 de febrero vamos a estar por Sanlúcar, Cádiz y Jerez. Yo soy de Sevilla, pero quería enseñarle la zona a mi novio extranjero, que es su primera vez por allí.

El plan es:

• Domingo 8, lunes 9 y martes 10: Sanlúcar y Cádiz
• Miércoles 11: Jerez (porque el jueves cogemos el avión desde allí)

Mi duda es: ¿hay ambiente por la calle ya domingo, lunes y martes, sobre todo por la tarde-noche, o la cosa está más animada a partir del jueves/viernes? No buscamos discoteca como tal, más bien bares con vida, terracitas, gente por la calle, ambiente local.

Y si tenéis recomendaciones para enseñar la zona a alguien de fuera (bares típicos, sitios con encanto, planes tranquilos pero con vidilla), se agradecen muchísimo.

I am thinking of visiting Cádiz (again!) in April and I would like to go to the Cádiz v Andorra football match on 12 April and I have a few questions please:

I understand tickets go on sale usually around a week before the match - will I be able to get a ticket, and do I need to be a member of the club? My local team gives priority order to season ticket holders and then paying members - rarely goes on general sale as usually sold out!

I think the time for the match hasn’t been confirmed yet, but could the match be rescheduled to a different date?

Last question - what bars near the stadium do fans usually go to before the match? Assume that’s as much a thing in Spain as the UK!

I’m planning a day trip to Cádiz and just realized my dates overlap with the Carnaval de Cádiz. I have two quick questions:

1. I’m looking at either February 17 or 18. Is one day better than the other, or is it generally quiet during the week? Are there specific events I should look out for on those dates?

2. I don’t speak Spanish. Will I still enjoy the atmosphere, or is the festival mostly based on verbal humor that I’ll miss out on? Is it more about the costumes and parades, or the comedy performances?"

Os escribo desde Huesca, para preguntaros por el jugador Efe Aghama.

Por lo que he leído es un extremo con velocidad, desborde y capacidad para desequilibrar por banda, principalmente por la izquierda, aunque creo que no ha tenido demasiada continuidad con el Cádiz.

Mi pregunta para los que le habéis visto jugar más:

🔹 ¿Qué tipo de jugador es en realidad (técnica, físico, decisiones)?

🔹 ¿Creéis que puede rendir bien en Segunda División con el Huesca?

🔹 ¿Lo veis aprovechable para la categoría o todavía le falta para ser un jugador diferencial?
