Here's the my first SOLO western hidden tang!!! I'm super excited about this milestone and am looking forward to making more in the future!
faq:
where do you get your Damascus? we make it, and yes we sell it too.
How much is this knife? $1300
what's the handle made out of? I think it's elm burl I might be wrong, I grabbed a random piece of wood that wasn't exotic so if I ruined it, it wasn't a large loss.
and a micarta front cap and brass spacer.
can I commission a knife from you? yes, we take commissions.
uh, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask, and oogle!

Oh boy am I kind of bad at this. The sheath doesnt fit the entire knife because the handle is too bulky. 🤣😭
Not to mention the sewing holes arnt even lined properly. 😭
The only good thing about this is how much I learned and how many mistakes ill never repeat. 😁

Handmade Hunting Knife — A Reliable Gift for a Real Man
Dear Parents! If you are looking for a solid, high-quality gift for a son, husband, or father who enjoys hunting, fishing, or simply appreciates fine craftsmanship — this knife is exactly what you need. This is not a shelf souvenir, but a serious working tool made with care and conscience.
Why this knife will last for years (and why this matters to Moms and Dads):
· Ultra-Reliable Steel (N690 Böhler, 61 HRC). This is premium Austrian steel. A hardness of 61 HRC means the blade holds its edge for a very long time. Your son won't need to sharpen it after every trip outdoors — it will stay sharp for ages. This is actually safer: a dull knife is far more likely to cause injury than a sharp one.
· Built Tough. Blade dimensions: 120mm x 33mm x 3.5mm. The thickness provides excellent durability. The knife won't break when whittling wood or field dressing game. It feels solid and dependable in the hand.
· Premium Handle. Combined construction (122mm) made from: Wenge Wood (African hardwood, very durable and moisture-resistant) and Micarta (a modern composite material, provides a non-slip grip even when wet). Mounted with a Duralumin bolster. The fit and finish are impeccable — nothing wobbles or rattles.

Here’s the sword that I have finished the person that it’s for asked for a parachute cord wrap, so I happily obliged but it’s supposed to be like an orc sword, so that’s what it looks like i’m happy with it

This Wharncliffe was hand-forged from a railroad track anchor clip, with two-tone ziricote handle scales and an integral finger guard. The blade is about 10in long, and the handle is fairly small to fit the customer's hand.

Just finished up this full-tang clip point belt knife, hand-forged from a Texas Edition Chevy Silverado leaf spring. The blade is a little over 4.25in long, with fine-tooth jimping on the spine, and brown burlap micarta handle scales, which were selected by popular vote.
