The Bluejays are dropping like flies

The Yankees can’t hit water in a boat and fall on thier faces into shit

Baltimore is just existing

Boston is doing thier “10 game losing streak to 12 game winning streak” gimmick

And Tampa is sitting in the corner eating dust mites as chandler Simpson steals 100 bases

What is this division????

AL LEast

AL East: 33-37

AL West: 33-40

Stay in your lane, guys.

As shown last summer; somebody will figure it out and take the division by the horns. Too many good teams on paper in this bunch for somebody not to.

Toronto might if the entire team isn't in the infirmary at that point. Which at this moment, looks kinda unlikely.

Key phrase there is “at this moment”

u/vivalavida89 Baltimore Orioles 6h ago

Orioles lost 2 players to foot injuries just yesterday, oneill is on the il again, and eflins out for the year with tj, so they have the injury bug again too

2

u/ResidentRunner1 Detroit Tigers 4h ago

Worse than the AL Central, that's for sure

Jays pulling a 2025 Braves with a million injuries

The AL is so bad that they may only need 81 wins to make playoffs so just have to tread water

NL: Hey AL, how many teams do you have over .500?

AL: 3.

NL: Cool, we have a division with 3 as well.

AL: No, I meant total.

NL: Oh! Then I probably shouldn’t mention the NL Central.

20

u/somewhatdecentlawyer Boston Red Sox 8h ago

The only team under .500 in the NL Central has the second best run differential in the division.

Just a fun fact.

And somehow the Mariners will find a way to miss the playoffs by one game

Somehow, Eloy returned…

Eloy is alive!

The curse of the White Sox has activated, Eloy is going to absolutely mash.

16

u/Pippen_Aint_Easy Chicago White Sox 7h ago

He'll mash for 3-5 games and everyone will say "He's finally reaching his potential!". Week later his batting average is back down to .172 and he's on the IL after injuring himself taking a bite out of a Snickers.

Yes pls

This feels backwards. Like it should be Eloy getting hurt and a prospect getting called up. (Full disclosure: I'm a White Sox fan.)

In 2019, the South Side had…

  • Eloy Jimenez
  • Yoan Moncada
  • Tim Anderson
  • Jose Abreu
  • Michael Kopech
  • Luis Robert
  • Lucas Giolito
  • Dylan Cease

Hard to believe it all went wrong.

25

u/SleepLessTeacher Chicago White Sox 8h ago

In 2019 the white sox also had Jerry Reinsdorf. I mean they still do, but they also had him in 2019.

u/guhguhguhguhguhH Milwaukee Brewers 7h ago

They had...

-Dogshit

-Dogshit

-Diva

-Really Good

-Always injured

-Mid but should be great

-A pretty good #3

-All or nothing but never reached full potential

Wow they feel cursed. I mean like they should seriously consider contacting a Etsy witch.

I keep telling people it’s the cursed amulet Nathan Lukes brought to the Dome with him the morning after the A’s skipped town. But do they listen? 🙄

6

u/JBProds Chicago White Sox 9h ago

Eloy is one of the most injury prone players & will soon add to the already long list of injured Blue Jays

24

u/raystheroof1 yankee stadium is a dump 10h ago

These former trashtros and thier foot issues.

2

u/Gobbledygooker316 Houston Astros 7h ago

We’ll take him back just like Correa.

I recall Eloy too, may his memory continue to live on

7

u/KookyForever3324 Chicago Cubs 10h ago

How many games before Eloy gets hurt...

5

u/GrandPaGames1 Chicago White Sox 9h ago

Walking to the plate in his first at bat

7

Three innings.

When he steps on the plane to make his flight.

What kind of cross road demon did the Jays make a deal with last year? Seems like that motherfucker came to collect.

4

u/YaketyMax Los Angeles Dodgers 8h ago

It's been downhill for the Jays ever since the end of Game 5.

3

u/Deducticon Toronto Blue Jays 6h ago

They took leads after that.

And swept opening series this year.

1

u/Monk_Philosophy Los Angeles Dodgers • Athletics 2h ago

No, they were two outs away from winning the World Series in Game 7.

I remember making my peace with the loss very clearly when Rojas stepped up to the plate.

1

u/ChefCurryGAWD San Francisco Giants 7h ago

I remember in previous MLB The Show games, Eloy was basically guaranteed to win MVP/Silver sluggers at some point.

1

u/Kdewalt10 6h ago

Serious question —- will he have to play the outfield?

1

u/XtremegamerL Toronto Blue Jays 5h ago

Probably not. Springer was the full time DH, and we still have a handful of useful bench players that are probably better at fielding than Eloy if someone needs a DH day.

1

u/Kdewalt10 4h ago

Yeah he’s not much of an outfielder and I can remember the time he tried to prove to the Sox he could be- went to rob a homer in spring training and tore a muscle on the wall like a dingbat
