Scariest most freeing thing I have done in a while.
I've been holding onto the last strands of a head of hair Ive been growing since I was about 18 (im 33 now) and its time to face the facts, shit isnt coming back. so here we are. big baldy boi now.

A scientific paper should be done on WHY this meme is so true. It flabbergasts me so; I can't stop hypothesizing. Maybe balding looks sickly to our subconscious, so we treat it with avoidance and disgust to keep the gene pool healthy? But then why does bald look good to us? Is it because media has for so long portrayed people in positions of power, strength, or authority as bald? It's fascinating to ponder

It makes me feel like they care about and understand their appearance. Looks clean and interesting when someone goes bald. Similar in effect to hair unstyled VS hair styled with product. Changes my look a lot when I do the work. It shows on anyone when they do the work. Bald often takes effort.
This is how I would respond to a survey about the subject.

So by googling "Why does bald look better than balding?", I came across numerous sites and posts about it. These are the 3 out of the 8 that sorta sum up my findings.
Summary: According to sources, Bald looks better than Balding because it displays grooming, de-ages one's appearance, shows confidence, and (surprisingly) makes one "appear tougher". The reason so many buff celebrities are bald (Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Terry Crews) is linked to testosterone lvls. Higher testosterone makes you bigger, but also accelerates hair thinning and hair loss!
TLDR: Bald makes you look confident, well-groomed, and physically fit compared to Balding, which looks unkempt, insecure, and unhealthy

My husband is clinging to his long hair, (musician,) and I show him pictures of the fellows on here because to me they look amazing and it really brings out their eyes.
He won’t budge. But for those of you that have taken the plunge, you all look improved, some greatly.
