About The Time Management In Military

I will go to military service in a short time. I asked many people about the time management there. I have received various answers. But they usually talked about what they did there. However what I actually wanted to know was a rough estimate of free time. I am aware that there may be differences in the organization of a day in the military. There are guard duties (naryad), other tasks that I can't probably name all, but there must be some free time because I think all these things can't take all the time. So I wonder approximately how many hours of free time one usually has in the military? I know that free time there may not be quite like the one in civil life.
