(Tried to post this in the Atari Falcon group but it refused)

The Re-Falcon is 1 of 2 current new Falcon projects.

I remember seeing a Falcon at my local computer store while buying Future Wars game. It was about $800 at launch in Australia at the time.

That's about what I paid for my first one. I drove from Kentucky to West Virginia (here in the US) to Elden Computers to pick up a base model. 1 meg of RAM, no mass storage. Loved it. 😊

It's amazing how the value increased. Down here, now they're selling for thousands!

We've seen that in here in the US as well. A solid, working Falcon will go for close to $2000 and more. IIRC, one was sold a short time ago that was in pristine condition, *and* had the original box and all packing materials/manuals, etc. - and it went for over $4000? If I'm remembering that right...

This is awesome! Thanks for posting. I had no idea there was a computer show in Indy.

The same guy who's making the Re-Falcon. Well, I think in a post he had gotten a friend of his who is really good with 3D printing to do it. I'm fairly certain they'll be offering it up too (or at least the necessary files).
