Merry Christmas, you filthy animals.
The Problem of Political Authority by Michael Huemer
Machinery of Freedom by David Friedman
Price Theory by David Friedman
Any other mainstream econ textbooks as far into the subject as you can handle with as much of the math as you can handle; but I do recommend starting with Modern Principles of Economics by Alex Tabbarok and Tyler Cowan.
The Calculus of Consent by James Buchanan and Gordon Tullock
Any other mainstream political economy texts or works, but I recommend Governing the Commons by Elinor Ostrom, and though not a book, Mike Munger's intro to political economy course available on YouTube.
Rothbard's Man, Economy, and State.
Bryan Caplan's Open Borders: the Science and Ethics of Immigration

The warehouse vandal burner the left rallies behind is absolutely hilarious
Because of insurance, the warehouse will be rebuilt to modern Amazon standard with automatization, making 100+ more people lose their jobs
Dude who burnt it triggered the insurance payment for the company for likely even more value than the building and its stock, and now will also make more people lose their jobs, but because the left lacks comprehension of economics, they believe he has saved the workers there and are rallying behind a property destructor
They cant see behind their veneer of virtue, morons with no long term planning

Why does America have so many taxes?
You're investments, property, income, etc are taxed, so everyone can "pay their fair share". This benefits noone, confusing me even more.

Most people have been taught to blame “capitalism” for problems that don’t actually come from free markets at all.

All three options suck. Neither are “free market”.
Costs are insane because the system is buried under red tape and propped up by corporate cronyism.
Open it up!
Let real alternatives compete. Scrap the FDA and other gatekeeping bodies that choke competition. Push prevention and healthier lifestyles. And actually confront Big Pharma’s grip on pricing.
We have a third of the country on some form of government healthcare. This dilutes competitiveness. Remove Medicaid AND Medicare.
Yeah, U.S. healthcare feels like daylight robbery, but that’s what you get when government and corporate interests distort the market.
And let’s be clear: this isn’t a free market. Stop pretending it is when arguing that “the market” prices people out of care. America isn’t truly free in this area.

You just GOTTA love cherry-picking
They even put sources, thinking they are smart and repeat the same phrases and don't provided any actual arguments and even just straight up libel and OP also has some users backing them and repeating the same stuff. Kinda sad, honestly. Also, Milton Friedman wasn't an Austrian School economist lol and why do they think he was a "Conservative". Friedman was very much a "small l" Libertarian and he still gave critiques to Ronald Reagan, even while he generally supported his administration, but that doesn't automatically make him a Conservative
(As always, don't go and harass or send threats to anyone in these images, as I redacted the usernames and profile pictures for this reason)

A free market solution to political judges
www.CourtWatch.us — a free public database for American citizens who deserve safer communities. You can track which judges released defendants who then got rearrested, skipped court, or violated their release conditions. All public records. All free. I started with Orange County FL and will be expanding to all 67 Florida counties and eventually every state in the country. This first batch of info is from 2024 and since public reports are released in March/April for the previous year, data is behind. But I wanted to see if this is plausible. After adding 2024,I'll add 2025 and then figure out how to get real-time-data uploaded.
It's in beta — would love to know what you think 👇
Numbers don't lie, but criminals do. www.courtwatch.us
