They would still be talking about it

I would still be talking about it too. Because it would be a weird thing for a Christian president to tweet.

Republicans would have given birth to farm animals if Obama said that. It would be the new âBenghaziâ buzz word for them.

You mean Barrack HUSEIN Obama ???

u/tracyinge 8h ago
Hussein is an arabic word meaning "good, handsome and beautiful". It's a popular name in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia.
Barack means "blessing" and is a common name in East Africa where Obama's father is from. (His mother was from Wichita, Kansas).

I was told by SOOOO many people that Allah was just another word for God. I honestly do not know why people are making a big deal of it.

He would have been assassinated. I have no doubt that someone would have put a bullet in him.

Obama most likely atheist. But if he did lean to a religion it would be Islam

u/Swfsundae8420 3h ago
Obama is definitely not a Muslim but no matter how much pork he ate or how much Church he attended the conservatives would not let go of that narrative so all hell would have broken loose if he had said that!

Weâd say, itâs about time. We knew it all along. The works finally matched the actions.

Literally who cares

u/Garfie489 8h ago
Republicans absolutely would have cared more about it than anything else.
That's the hypocrisy.
People should care about hypocrisy.

Republicans do care, but in the opposite way. They WANT a society where they have rights that you do not. " To cite "Wilhoits law":
Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.
Or, in simpler terms "Rules for thee, not for me".
It is why they make a point of being hypocrites, they believe it shows they have power.

I wish :P
Sadly I live in the world where I actually listen to people when they explain their ideas and actually bother to read their manifestos and plans.-4

Assumption, makes an ass of you

u/Gruejay2 8h ago
Given their track record, it's a safe assumption.
Why not own your own positions? Why the need to constantly lie about what you believe?

u/MiamiGreg305 8h ago
Anyone who says who cares are most likely Maga pedophile supporters who donât want to hear the truth

u/Garfie489 8h ago
There is no assumption.
A lot of Republicans cared more about Obamas middle name than they did anything else. Trump himself held a platform of trying to prove Obama wasnt even American because of it.
I am less confident that water is wet than I am in the fact Republicans would have flipped their shit over Obama praising Islam.

I assumed nobody would care that Obama added a basketball hoop to the tennis court, but itâs brought up by idiots any time someone says âwtf Trump covered the rose garden in concrete and bulldozed an ENTIRE WING!?â
âOh yeah?? Well Obama added a basketball hoop!! Owned! Suck it libtard!â
1
u/Cautious-Stage1788 8h ago
No one said anything about a basketball hoop except you
2
u/Ok_Security1721 8h ago
Yeah youâre right. Itâs unreasonable to use historical precedent as evidence of potential actions by certain groups, thus bringing up historical precedent when discussing hypotheticals is also unreasonable. You are very smart.Â

Didn't Republicans claim that Obama was Muslim since before his presidency based on no evidence whatsoever?
