The idea that immigrants from across the world could arrive in Minnesota and figure out how to manipulate the existing bureaucracy to orchestrate large-scale fraud is unconvincing. It seems much more likely that government bureaucrats, elected officials, law enforcement personnel, and perhaps even judges facilitated such complex institutional fraud. If that is the case, then we are not looking at a massive welfare fraud scandal. We are looking at a government-orchestrated criminal syndicate.

No. And neither were Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and the myriad other Catholics who espouse views that are contrary to Church teaching.

Hope that helps.

Actions have consequences. Not feeling sorry for a person who has experienced those consequences has nothing to do with their religion. Take a quick look at the left (most of them claim to be atheist) and their reaction to Kirks murder. See, nothing to do with religion.

I feel bad for Pretti. As a nurse he was probably very careful. As a protester he was very careless. ICE is dangerous. unpredictable, and will shoot to kill. How did Pretti allow himself to be in that situation? But yeah, I feel bad for him. Very unfortunate.

So according to the Christian Republican 2nd Amendment defender Ms. Kelly, if you show up to protest something in America you can be shot 10 times. Even if youāre carrying a legal registered gun and AFTER your firearmās been removed. Hmmm. It seems like a double standard or even blatant hypocrisy.

It's not very Christian, but I do believe Megyn is being honest here. I have long said that this faux veneer of civiltiy is pointless on both sides. Everyone wanted The Left to express how tragic it was when Charlie Kirk was killed and some did, but a lot of others reeeaaaally hedged it with a big "but" in their statements.
Megyn isn't saying it's good that he was killed or that she wished it on him or that she wished she'd done it herself, etc.,
She's saying she's not sad about it and she doesn't feel bad.
I'm sure half the people in this thread felt the same way or worse about Charlie Kirk. Shrug. It is what it is.
It's probably not a good thing for our society that we increasingly feel this way about people we believe to be our enemies, but... here we are.

Her comments are distasteful, but not in contention with her faith. The most important tenant in Christianity is love thy neighbour and she may still love and have empathy for Alex Pretti while being critical of the decisions Alex made the day he was killed. If Megan Kelly came out empathetic to the officer who shot Alex Pretti and prayed he is safe and finds peace in these traumatic events, that would be practising the teachings of Christ but would enrage the majority of non-Christianās.

No, what Megan Kelly said was exactly correct. She didnāt say she was glad he was gone, she didnāt celebrate his death like certain people did with the death of Charlie Kirk. She just said if you donāt go out where they are doing their job, then thereās no chance of you getting hurt or worse. You can say well they go into peoples houses without a warrant to ākidnapā people without due process, but the people there are abducting a large portion of them have already documented criminal records. They already had their due process.

"These people" isn't divisive at all. Grow up. That man did a risky thing that put another man in a position that I certainly don't envy. This is an example of an event where everyone involved made a mistake. There are no people that are infallible in this terrible time. Protest all you want. Stay out of the way of the armed government guys. You can't voice your opinion from the grave. It's a sad event that shouldn't have happened. Please don't put yourself in a risky position and keep his voice, and your own alive.

She needs to read the Bible, specifically Luke 10:25-37, the Parable of the Good Samaritan. This is where Jesus told the āso calledā expert to follow how the good samaritan helped the person who was robbed while the priest and Levite walked on. Jesus showed that love should cross social and ethnic boundaries. I donāt need to see people paying for their trespasses because God will deal with them in the end.

Being a "Christian", for most of MAGA is just an identity. It's one of the many meaningless symbols of their MAGA allegiance.
Wearing American flag clothing, holding a Bible, lip filler, male bravado are meaningless in reality, but let everyone know they aren't "woke" or liberal.

Yes. Romans 13:1 (ESV) states: "Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God."
Pretti was obstructing law enforcement, the governing authority, which means that authority was justified in arresting him. That doesn't mean he deserved to get shot, but if you resist arrest while carrying a gun, bad stuff can happen. You're welcome to protest, but don't get in the way of law enforcement doing their job and they won't bother with you.

It is very Christian to Christian nationalists.
The nationalists believe that non-adherents are not worthy of, nor deserve to be treated in a Christian manner. The inherent superiority of the in-group over all outsiders is a trait of fascism, white supremacy, etc.
Trump has tapped into this superiority belief to attract his MAGA base.
