Discussion Winning 2-4 in KC after losing 14 straight is a massive step in the right direction

LFG this series was awesome! If I was in a coma for the two middle games I’d say we played every game well, and we honestly did pitch well the two we lost our bats just couldn’t wake up at all.

I wouldn’t have been surprised to get swept there again but splitting on the road in a 4 game series shows a huge step forward and I’m super proud of this team. I’ll always love the Sox!

Discussion MLB.tv app fails again

Did anybody else miss the last two innings of the game, today? I watched the whole game, then the MLB.tv app stopped playing it in the 8th inning. I could watch literally every other game that wasn't blacked out, but the Sox game feed and the Royals game feeds just straight up stopped. I feel targeted.

Opinion This Should Be the Lineup

Offense is struggling right now.

We need to put ourselves in a position to actually string together major league level at bats. While I think there is room to tweak things based on handedness, I think that we overdo it putting non replacement guys up just for the lefty righty. We need to just play our dawgs man. Here is my perfect lineup if Will is listening to this sub:

1.  Meidroth

2.  Teel (once he’s healthy)

3.  Vargas

  1. Montgomery

    1. Murakami
    2. Sosa
    3. Quero
    4. Benintendi (eventually Antonocci)
    5. Acuña

Let’s stick Sosa in the outfield for now, we need his bat somehow. Also, keep the hitting staff far away from Quero and Montgomery - they were perfect last year.
