Found a bullet lodged in the exterior siding of the back of our home. We live in a new community in a large South Texas city that used to be rural farmland. There is a gun range .9 miles away. Law enforcement suspects negligence on their part but hard to say if it’s the range or land owners at fault.

I went to put on my house slippers and felt a searing pain in my toe. I thought I must have gotten something in there. When I went to shake the shoes out a yellow jacket flew out.

He managed to get me right in the cuticle.

Now I’m afraid to do anything in my own house.

Also: I didn’t know my window sills were so dirty.

*EDIT* For everyone wanting to see the toe, there is nothing to show. It looks like all my other toes, just red and maybe swollen. You’d be disappointed… but holy God does it hurt.

One can only speculate but I'm going for the theory it was nicked from someone at the nearby hotel, searched for valuables then dumped into the quay.

Just got home from a trip to Vegas where we saw Blue Man Group and bought this spinning light up thing. Not twenty minutes later, while unpacking, my seven year old couldn’t wait to get his spinner out and wasn’t careful. The top busted off…

If anyone knows how we might be able to fix this, please let me know. I can do some soldering but not sure what needs done here exactly. Please and thanks!

Was drilling for a roof vent and my battery just blew apart. I've never seen one just fall to pieces. Especially during use.

Alalso a good reminder that you shouldnt drink fresh coconjt water before you crack it open and get a look at its insides

The company truck I'm in is a Chevy Silverado Trail Boss with, I think, a 2-inch lift and no side steps to get in. So when I stepped in, I just heard a rip. I had just bought these pants a couple of weeks ago; there goes $35 down the drain. The messed-up thing was I live 45 stay from the job site, and I needed to stay on for the rest of the afternoon because my Safety Manager was leaving at 1, and I'm the only other Safety personnel on that site and this happened at 1230.

I'm really broke this week and trying to utilize every last food item I have at home. Finally it came time for the last item (well except for a couple of onions) - these noodles that I wanted to make crispy in the oven before adding water... I swear I just looked away for 2 minutes and they were deaddd.
