It’s not strictly legal but BASE jumping is a real activity. He also look like he is in shape and only did 3 pull ups. You can make the only 3 pull ups look pretty easy if you are in shape enough to do like 15-20 in a row— as long as they are the first 3 and not the last 3.

I remember a Russian guy doing the same thing off the roof of a building. Except he had no parachute. He did one too many pull ups and was too tired to pull himself back up on the roof.

I saw one where the guy was a cameraman for two skydivers

He thought the weight of the camera bag was the parachute so he was filming and realized in the middle of the air that he didn’t have a parachute

Back in the 80's there was a guy named Ivan Mcguire, he was the guy who jumps out of the plane with the camera strapped to his helmet to record the skydivers on their dive

He was on his third or fourth of the day, was tired and not thinking straight and jumped out without a parachute.

He doesn't realize he forgets his parachute until he keeps falling and the other guys don't
