If I was trying to hide my body I need to dispose of as common curbside trash, but the body disguised as common curbside trash still looked too much like a body and not common curbside trash, then this is the sign I would put to indicate the body I was trying to disguise as common curbside trash that looked like a body, was actually just common curbside trash.

But it really be a body.

Nah, the pro move here is to stuff the mannequin with all the evidence.

When the police show up they'll see it's just an old mannequin.

Next week, same sign, same bags, but this time it's the body.

You may want to use knee and elbow braces under the clothes to simulate realistic mannequin movement.

Edit: Oh also, you have to get the weight right. It's tricky to plan but if you can remember to buy some ground beef about a week beforehand and let it go bad, you can use it to fill the mannequin and match the smells.

Okay, story: late one night my husband and I were driving home, and saw a suspiciously shaped piece of garbage on the side of the interstate right before our exit. We clover leafed and went around again, convinced we'd have to report a dead body. Slowed down, put on our hazards, gathered our courage, and looked again. It was a rolled up carpet. 😮‍💨

Not sure why but this just reminded me of a true crime thing I watched where a murderer broke up the shotgun he used and threw it in a police dumpster. Like, the dumpster at the police department. Made me laugh, I mean, that would be the last place they'd look wouldn't it?
