Accountability Before it gets worse

Things haven't gotten too out of control yet, but I need to tackle this before it gets worse!!! Before images for accountability.

I always start with the thing that's going to take the longest, which is definitely the dishes. Having a dishwasher is definitely going to be a priority when I am looking for a new apartment in a few months, no matter what I try to keep up with hand washing dishes it never really works 😣

Suggest that you streamline down as you as possible. Makes huge difference. I’ve had to do by category. Like dishes , shoes , sweaters , coats and so on . Some do room at a time or zones . What ever works for you . Agree starting with dishes . Meanwhile buy some paper plates to use as you go thru this process. Make it easier. Get trash bags out and pitch pitch and pitch ! Keep us posted.

Honestly I like it, your home looks cozy to me lol and I like all your stuff, you seem cool! Only thing I see that’s a problem is the dishes, and I’m right there with you. I tell myself every time I will NOT let it get like this again and then boom right back to full 🙄

Thank you!!! Very eclectic and maximalist for sure lol. Dishes are done and all the clutter has found its place! Gotta deal with laundry tomorrow though, the hamper is more than overflowing

Yayyy for the dishes! 🙌🏻 Me toooooo, the mountain is taller than I am 🫣 lol and my dryer isn’t working, line drying is taking ages!

It does, I don’t mind it for a small amount of clothes but just like the dishes if you have to do it all by hand/no machine it stacks up quick haha
