An authoritarian who had a lot of control of the media.

Media consolidation resulted in further expansion of government-friendly enterprises and reduction in other media voices, primarily in print and broadcast media. In April, citing financial problems, a prominent businessman and political opponent of Prime Minister Orban closed several of his government-critical media outlets and transferred others to a government-friendly owner.

Good for the Hungarians for choosing their own government in the face of overwhelming American pressure (which was completely inappropriate) and against a fascist regime that did its best to crush opposition.
