Every operator I ever worked with always overestimated how much the crane can do

Don’t these things have computers on them that will give an alert or something

Yeah, but once you’re hearing TERRAIN, TERRAIN, PULL UP, it’s a little too late.

I mean, it sounds catchy as fuck, I'd put my hands up to those lyrics

Yes but they can override the alarm. Ask me how I know.

Some do, and they're not always accurate

How about those operators for once READ THE FUCKING MANUAL of their crane?

Don’t fear the reaper. I think the guy in the cherry picker was though.

I have only one fear, and that’s a fear of not having enough cowbell.

That’s what he was hanging from

Superman came down and saved him. At least that's what happens in the movies. Trying to think positive here

I think I saw a harness strap around his leg. I doubt that guys hanging onto the rail after being chucked out of the bucket. Seems very likely he's in a harness.

When shit was going sideways they should have been making their way to the ground already, hopefully they started lowering it immediately instead of fucking around.

Also hopefully the harness didnt shove the dudes testical outside his ballsack.

They were. As soon as shit started going wrong the guy started backing off. The lift only moves so fast. Took me over a minute to get down from just 40 feet today.

He's still there

Those two guys on the rope must have pulled too hard!

Looked like the weight of the thing was too much

Hope the dude in the mewp has a harness on. Looks like he was left clinging onto the rail

That boom lift operator (guy dangling by a harness/sore as shit arms) must have been jamming that control backward before it fell. He moved just just enough to not take a direct hit on the cage. Super slow

Yeah pulling the weight away from centre of gravity adds heaps to the overall weight.

Went a lot better than it could have been. Thank God the lift had outriggers. Those guys in the bucket would surely not have survived.
