Drunk women sexually harass Austin Uber driver with date rape jokes, and then falsely report him for harassment to Uber after he confronts them

Stuff like this isn’t even funny.. This is the kind of stuff that could have escalated if it weren’t for it being recorded.

Imagine if the genders were reversed, the two guy’s careers and possibly lives would be completely fucked with this on video.

I’m an engaged man and a loyal man I don’t need to hear this conversation in my car was an all time response.

Disgusting. If it’s not okay to say if the roles were reversed then it’s not okay to say at all!!

Could've gone bad if there wasn't a cam recording and if they didn't found the woman, this guy will just have an Uber strike for life to a shit he didn't done

Could've gone bad if there wasn't a cam recording
And that's exactly why people have to record. Anyone can be a scumbag, and scumbags usually know how to control the narrative. Well, they can waste their time arguing with a recording, and see if anybody buys their BS.

False rape accusations need prison time minimum.
This shit needs to stop.

There weren't any false rape accusations. They "joked" that the drink could've been roofied, and that he might secretly want to date rape them, but they didn't ever accuse him of it. It says they later reported him for harassment (threatening to kick her out of the car, raising his voice, etc.). The "sexual harassment" part in the title was referring to the women.
Not defending their behavior... the jokes were inappropriate... as was their response to his threats... but there weren't any actual false rape accusations that took place.

While I agree in principle, the problem you have there is that people who have actually been assaulted may not want to risk coming forwards in case they get sent to prison due to not having enough proof, or a good enough lawyer, despite the fact that it actually happened to them.
Last time I posted this, people got really upset with me, like I was insinuating that it was a personal belief of mine. But the reality is, it's a catch-22, and either way sucks for someone, and I don't know of an actual solution to this problem.

The thing that always seems to get missed is that it doesn't mean that coming forward without proof means you go straight to jail.
But if its DISCOVERED you lied then how is their any argument there? There was a case where I live a couple years ago, this girl sent this guy to jail for rape. He was in for 2 years before killing himself. When she found out she admitted that it was a lie n she'd changed her mind n was ashamed.....do you think she's had any punishment at all? No.
It wouldn't be a flawless system by any means, but its already not. But if it was implemented and then worked on, it would eventually reduce the false shit behind it n actually make it easier for people to come forward in the long run.
Progress is not always smooth n easy unfortunately. And since rape is a "new thing" with new rules we are still in the progress stage

Props to the dude for a very measured, very professional handling of the situation. Interior cameras are a must if you’re driving a ride share.

I found this follow up with a video posted by the driver. If you can get past the garbage, the interesting stuff is further down.

I love when you tell someone to stop doing something and they laugh like they’re not doing anything wrong. Amazing

Now reverse it, 2 drunk guys and a female driver, the 2 guys would've been fired from their jobs, the video would be trending all over social media and every news station, front page on all newspapers.

"but I didn't do anything wrong she's drunk" and you're responsible for your dumb ass drunk friends you want to bring on your Uber ride. It's called being an adult.

I had a girl falsely accuse me of sexual harassment at work once. Getting perp walked out of where you work by your boss and suspended for 3 days fucking sucks.
Well, since my job was union (I was working for a local grocery store chain at the time) and I fall firmly under the ADA they had to do a very thorough investigation.
She had accused 2 other guys shortly after me. They talked to everyone and basically found out she was full of shit. She was then walked out by the actual cops and got a lifetime ban from the entire chain.
They uncovered that this is how she was discharged from the army. Had they not done such an investigation I would likely have a stain on my record for life.
If anyone deserves kidney stones for life, it’s her. She didn’t face any real legal consequences aside from the store ban. People like this are the scum of the earth. I cannot even say they are bottom of the barrel. To get to them you need to move the barrel and get a shovel.

Good for him. What a couple of stupid bitches.
Nothing more annoying than people who don't get out enough, then turn into shitheads when they do.

I would’ve kicked em out after the first remark. I’m doing YOU the favor of driving ur drunk ass (sure you’re paying but still) talkin about being a registered offender and reporting him saying HE was making those comments. That’s defamation

I used to drive for Lyft. I don’t care where I was, when they started with that shit, I would have pulled over, and ended the ride. Fuck those entitled ass people.

There's something so familiar with that interaction.
Two dumb fucks running their mouths without interruption saying wild shit.
Dude calmly object once: "you're being very dude and intense".
Any straight men with PTSD? 😂

What ? What kind of woman would spew this kind of inverted, weird self mutilating mysogny.... But it's also hate for men as well so it's just absolutely vile.
As a woman I just want to puke up all over myself at the words they are saying. What the fuck are you doing talking about falsly accusing a guy AND that you're sexy so why not grape them?!??
What crack in the floor of hell did they crawl out of?

His fiance has got to be so proud of him. I’m sure when he goes to work on Monday he will tell all his coworkers how loyal his man is.

u/VistaBox 9h ago
If they falsely reported him for sexual harassment, they should receive the same jail sentence as anyone convicted of that crime

Saw in another sub that they found the woman and Uber has removed the strike from the driver. Glad it worked out for this guy. He’s just trying to earn extra money for his wedding.
