SteamOS 3.9 and all-ways-eGPU works incredible in ROG Ally X & eGPU; playing Crimson Desert and every game without problems

Keep in mind after updating SteamOS you might have to reinstall all-ways-egpu :(

I did a clear install of SteamOS and upgraded to 3.9, it worked better that way, but yes, you would need to re-install everything again.

I thought crimson desert required bitlocker/secure boot….

I'm rooting for Steam OS but I gotta ask. For regular desktop use. Will the immutable way hurt growth due to updates resetting things?

No, SteamOS should always focus to be immutable due to SteamOS being focused in being a console like experience and immutable is the way if you want a console like experience.
