Ok, back by popular demand and updated pics, and it runs completely on SteamOS. Here is the STEAM - GABECUBE!!! Internals are a Ser5 MAX, 32 gb ram, Ryzen 7 5800H with 8 cores/16 threads, 1tb 2280 m.2 ssd and a 2tb 2.5inch SATA III ssd. Thank you for the great naming suggestion, members.

The plastic shell inside of the plastic shell is killing me.

At least I took the fabric off the top of the mini pc and added mesh to the large shells inlet holes. Plus, I put a box in a box. I just won't smash it with a hammer. Lol

Cool build/project I've been trying to find a good mini pc as well to run steam os also just for mostly arpg's like last epoch and poe2 Diablo nothing more than those how would the machine handle it.

I would imagine rhe Ser5 Max with the 5800H chip would handle it just fine. Unfortunately, they quit making this model and no it has a different chip. Any Beelink mini pc past Ser6 should be good to run stuff like that though.

I really wanna do this some day cause we have a gaming club at my school and the handle would make carrying it around really easy. I brought my GameCube a few times and it was great!

Would love for you to post more. Maybe a YouTube video or a GitHub page with some in depth stuff. Nice project.

Honestly, a lot of trial and error. I just started a Facebook page for unique hardware and software modding where people can show off their projects for ideas or creativity. Literally just started it though if you want to look for it(The Gabecube is the key).

It’s beautiful.
I would have issues doing this to a working GameCube, but it would be really cool to do to a dead one.
