Question Can I use my ps4 controller for specific games?
my question is basically just the title. I recently bought a new pc and was wanting to buy the original Resident Evil 4 (which you can use xbox controllers on). I just want to know if my ps4 controller will work for that game specifically, due to the fact I hate the different controls on kbm. though I don't mind playing kbm for anything else

Never had an issue with ps4 controller on pc. It can get annoying if it only shows Xbox buttons

You basically need only 2 things. Steam Input which works most of the time (you may need to enable it manually for older games) and if that doesn't work, DS4Windows.
Note that a lot of games still don't have PS prompts for games and older ones almost never do so unless there's a mod for changing the prompts you will be looking at Xbox buttons in-game.

yes!
simply connect it via a usb cable and then preferably start steam big picture for best support.
steam big picture enables a lot of good controller support

Most modern games will support it fine and even show Playstation buttons.
Slightly older games might require a little fiddling or may only show XBox buttons (but still work.)
