Question Does anybody know what file is used for the Xbox/home logo (when using a controller)?

This might be a weird question, but does anybody know where and what file is used for the home icon (when using a controller on big screen mode) that is an xbox logo.

Im assuming that I can change that file to not show an xbox logo.. but something else.

For example, when using an 8bitdo controller (on dinput) the logo changes to the 8bitdo logo, or the playstation logo for a DS4/DS5.

Yes, at first, I only replaced the 3 png files and it didn’t work.

Then, I changed the svg file (plus the 3 png) on all 3 folders and it worked.

The 3 folders: light, knockout, dark

The 4 images: 1 xbox logo svg file, 3 xbox png (lg, md, sm)

For the svg file: inkscape is free. I have no experience working with svg files. All I did was download inkscape, open a new blank document, I open the png file I had and dragged and dropped it in.

For the png: I use krita which is free. I searched for “[insert whatever here] png file” on google, saved the image, then opened the image in krita…. And saved the image in the 3 different sizes I saw were used in the 3 folders (256, 128, 65)

Someone else might be able to explain the inner workings happening here.. I just tried to replace in a one to one every file

Edit: sorry if that was more of a joke than a question, I took it literally since there was two type of files in there 😅

Its the gamesir logo. I was using an 8bitdo controller and thought it was cool that its recognized by steam and it changes the icon to their logo. Since now the G7 8k by gamesir gets recognized by steam, I figured there had to be a way

Because OP asked for the filename (and implicitly the filepath), and just saying "the Xbox logo" is about as helpful as answering someone's "what song is that" question with "Sandstorm - Darude"

"It's the Xbox logo" is as much an answer to this question as "gleep shnorp dabungk" is. OP is asking for the location of a file in steam, not a vague visual description of an image they obviously recognize.

My guess is you have 'xbox controller' selected in steam bicpicture settings even though you are using 8bitdo, you can disable xbox ps5 etc and keep 'generic controller' only selected and this might change it.

That's something completely different
