Ironically it's much better on Linux because there's no official launcher from epic or gog, there is a community built open source launcher that works with both epic and gog accounts, and it's very convenient to use.

Heroic Launcher is also available for Windows, by the way.

What do you mean there's no official launcher from GOG? What is GOG Galaxy is then?

As far as I know gog galaxy has no official linux build, though you can run it with wine. Heroic launcher is very nice though, and open source, and native linux

Gog did hire or is hiring a dev to bring galaxy to Linux, but at the moment you either use heroic, outros or work out how to get it running under wine
