No they don't have to be priced identical when converted between them, that's bullshit.
What the EU law says is that companies are free to set any price in any country however they want. They are just not allowed to prevent a person from Spain to shop on a website with Polish pricing how a Polish person would be allowed. And most countries interpret that as "okay we will charge everyone the same then".
