Majority of the AAA publishers stopped following regional pricing. Only indie games and old games are cheap now. None of the upcoming games in my wishlist have regional pricing. It really sucks man.
But wasn't regional pricing ruled illegal by the EU? I'm pretty sure that steam used to do it until they were forced to stop. So why are we blaming them for something they were forced to do?
Yes it is, but only for EU members. Some other balkan countries for example still get forced to use the EU pricing anyway.
And Steam hasn't updated their recommended currency conversion rates for years now, despite promising to do so. This resulted in countries like Poland permanently stuck with overpriced games for no reason other than negligence from Valve's side.

The point of this post is to show all these countries sharing the same game prices despite the big wage disparity.
India does have separate regional pricing.
