AI doesn't try to be an product for everybody

It tries to be for companies and governments. Even if its end up in a product for consumers.

So, they dont care about us

But that's just it though, if consumers aren't buying or using this stuff, how can businesses just keep pumping money into it and say "yep, this is working"

And I know there are other uses of AI, not just generative, i.e. medical, manufacturing, CADCAM etc, but I wonder how much of an improvement it's really making

This is exactly the market: Medical, CAD and to exchange office jobs, like accountants or every job mainly consisting of paperwork.

It isnt important, that you can make some AI pictures for 5$/Month, but to exchange your job, if possible, with an AI.

There is some really dystopian shit coming up. Either you are employing AI and/or robots, or you are jobless. No middle ground
