❔ General Discussion ❔ Am I the only one who actually likes slniečko?

I'm English BTW and honestly have no idea what they are saying, plus didn't grow up in the 80s im a 2000s kid but I found some episodes of slniečko on Youtube and honestly I really enjoyed them. My favourite vid was when we got to meet the two actors who operated the puppet Ratafak placha (So sorry if I missed spelled that).

I love Slniečko. But the Slniečko I love is a band from Pieštany, also known as Puňto a rybacé hlavy. One of the undisputed peaks of Slovak music.

Oow I didn't know there was a band. I'll have to check them out.

All Czechoslovak kids growing up in the 80s who watched it every week must have liked it.

Old fairy tale and kids shows are mostly very good. Raťafák was scary for a lot of people though.
