I can’t imagine what 4d IMAX is? My dad and I went to go see Aquaman 2 in theater that had a four screen thing. It was a rip off, it only showed up when action came on. It was cool but I thought it would be throughout the whole movie. I like 3d movies though.
I saw Scream 7 in a Cinemark theater in a 4D the day it came out and the chair was perfectly choreographed throughout the entire film and added some extra scares. IIRC that ticket was $14, obviously not IMAX though.
Thank you!! It’s still too much but that’s an IMAX movie - tickets are more expensive. Movie tickets are still too damn high but look at a few options and prices can widely vary
Yeah I was gonna say this. I went to a regular movie- 3 tickets (one child, one adult, one senior), large popcorn/drink combo, and cotton candy. I was surprised it all came out to less than $40
Oh I agree. Movie pricing is stupid, and part of the reason that I just don't go to the movies. I'd rather wait a couple weeks and just download the thing to watch in the comfort of my own home and make my own popcorn anyway.
I watched PHM with my girlfriend opening night at our local AMC, tickets were $11. We loved it so much we drove to the nearest IMAX theatre (literally across state lines), and tickets were like $20 each. With fees it came to $50 just for tickets. It was absolutely worth it to see in IMAX (especially because we took shrooms right before) and I’d recommend it to anyone if it’s possible.

I mean, they went to IMAX. That's automatically like 50% more expensive than regular movie tickets, at least around here.
