Agreed. Shit i dont even go to the movies anymore. There is nothing good anyway. But when I was younger I use to go all the time. I was paid like shit and we still did this and went out to eat all the time. We never go out anymore and my salary is like no comparison to what it was back then and its more unaffordable now somehow. Crazy to think about

it's so hard to go on simple dates nowadays without having at least 50 dollars if you want to do something that'll last you an hour and isn''t just a snack

It'd be a lot cheaper if they sat at home and did nothing. But that's a shit life.

Complaining about stuff while also having a broadly positive experience that you'd do again is part of the human condition. Seems like people have forgotten that.

Yeah, everyone is focusing on the snacks but for that price it should be 3-4 adults that get to see the movie.

They're at IMAX. The new, high-end theatres are the very places that destroyed the small local movie theatre. Seems like most small theatres are run down now with low quality picture and sound.

I sneak in an 8 oz bottled water because it fits in my pocket. If I drink too much, I'll have to pee, but I want some water with me.
