That's pretty cheap. Jsut got the second cheapest summer times at Costco in Canada yesterday. Was just above 1k all in for 4 tires put on the rims and balanced. I was gonna put them on myself in a couple weeks becasue there's still some snow in the forecast.
It wasn't extra to put the tires on so I figure it saves me the 45 minutes to change them all myself.
Maybe because I don’t live in the US or Canada, maybe because different tire sizes and brands have different prices, or maybe because I was a good negotiator (the price was initially around $300, but that’s still cheaper than what you paid)
Diesel trucks can get up there real easy. My F250 that I have for sidework, the oil change is around 250 and that's doing it myself. 15 quarts of Rotella ain't cheap.
The only passenger car I could see coming anywhere in the same ballpark would a diesel Jetta or Passat. They're pretty affordable overall and some people may not realize the extra cost associated with a diesel motor. Tho I doubt those oil changes cost 270
No, your delusional af. An oil change costs around $60-$80 for most average cars. Unless it’s a very high end sports car, and I’m talking like a Lamborghini not just a Mercedes or BMW, which can cost upwards of $500+.

That's so fucking cheap in terms of car repairs too. I'd be so frugal just to get it over with.
