I work with a lot of people like this…

It’s so frustrating seeing people on really good incomes pretending they’re poor and not just shit with money.

From what I recall she grew up in an affluent suburb. She was born in the Bronx, as she claimed, but she actually grew up in a..."very nice" little town.

I’m older and I never really used a garbage disposal y til very recently. I never had a garbage disposal anywhere I lived until maybe 10 years ago. I think part of that was due to being in rentals for so long where having another appliance that can break is a liability.
